Overview

Although most current products utilize CCFLs for LCD backlighting, the trend is increasingly shifting towards LED backlights. LED backlights provide a number of advantages over CCFLs, such as faster response, wider color range, and longer life. ROHM LED backlight drivers integrate a step-up converter and MOSFET optimized for load switch circuits.
