Unlike previous models, ROHM's new H-bridge drivers feature a V_REF-variable function that enables the duty pulse to be changed for PWM drive capability, resulting in greater efficiency. A diode is also built in for surge protection.

High speed response is achieved through circuit optimization. Conventional input pins can be used for direct PWM signal input (~100kHz), eliminating the need for additional or special terminals. In addition, the drivers support TLL input, enabling control via microcontroller.
