*Based on ROHMfs April, 2007 survey of Schottky barrier diodes and Zener diodes
Overview
The new GMD2 utilizes ROHM's proprietary chip device structure and ultra-precise machining technology in order to dramatically reduce the size and thickness while maintaining the standard electrical characteristics. This package will make it possible to save even more space and increase the board density of products requiring greater compactness and thinness.
Features
Ultra-small dimensions: 0.6mm × 0.3mm
Ultra-thin: 0.3mm
67% smaller and 20% thinner than existing diodes (1006(0402) size: 1.0mm × 0.6mm)
100mW rated package power (same as the 1006(0402) and 1406(0502) sizes)
Product lineup
Schottky Barrier Diodes(Industry First!!)
Zener Diode(Industry First!!)
PIN Diodes
The terminals of all ROHM's LSIs/discrete semiconductors/passive components are lead-free. ROHM's current lead-free products comply with RoHS Directive, ensuring worry-free use all over the world.
Applicable directive: WEEE*1/RoHS*2
WEEE*1 (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)/RoHS*2 (Restriction of the use of certain Hazardous Substances in electrical and electronic equipment)
In addition to the GMD2 package 0603, ROHM is committed to further development of diode products and expanding our product line to best meet our customerfs needs.
