The BU6521KV fog correction IC utilizes unique AIE technology for clear images with excellent visibility, even in dark or heavily backlit conditions. Images clouded or whitened by fog or rain are corrected in real time, resulting in unsurpassed clarity.
Ideal for security systems requiring high visibility under varying conditions. A TV encoder function is built in that allows real-time image verification via TV.

The BU6521KV integrates fog detection and reduction functions.The fog reduction function corrects both the contrast and color of images whitened by fog or rain, restoring images to their natural state. The fog detection function determines the presence of fog or rain based on the whiteness level of the image and continuously makes adjustments accordingly for the clearest images. |

ROHM's AIE technology performs adaptive correction of images similar to the human eye, unlike conventional systems that make adjustments uniformly to the entire image. Restores the clarity and definition of images exposed to moisture. |

Upgrade existing sets
BU6521KV supports 8bit YUV=4:2:2 ITU-R BT656 with both horizontal and vertical sync signals, making it possible to add fog correction functionality to existing systems by simply connecting the IC after the camera stage.
