ROHM's all-in-one flash driver LSIs make it easy to add flash functionality to applications using xenon tube or high-luminance LEDs. Light from the flash generally reaches a much wider area than with ordinary LED or lamp displays, and reflection is also greatly improved. Entirely new applications are possible.

High luminance LED flash driver

2. Operation control selectable via control mode:
   direct (2 wires) or register (3 wires)
3. Built-in step-up circuit

Xenon Tube Flash Driver

1. Built-in step-up circuit
2. Transformer primary side peak current linearly adjustable via ADJ terminal
3. Standby mode is switchable using the START terminal
4. Full charge detection capability
5. Built-in IGBT driver
6. Multiple protection circuits built-in
   (TSD, UVLO)
