Overview
The BR24S□□□ series integrates a unique double-cell structure and proprietary double reset functionality, utilizes gold-pad/gold-wire connections for greater reliability, and features a wide operating voltage range of 1.7V-5.5V, making them ideal for portable battery-driven devices.
- Compatible with I2C bus, using two ports for communication: SCL (serial clock) and SDA (serial data).
- Devices other than EEPROMs can connect to the same port, minimizing microcontroller ports.
- 1.7V to 5.5V(BR24S□□□series), 1.8V to 5.5V(BR24L□□□series) single power source
- High-speed write operation in page write mode

Feature2 High reliability Double cell structure
ROHM EEPROMs integrate a unique double reset structure that allots two cells for each memory bit in an OR configuration that offers redundant operation – when one cell fails the other automatically begins to function, seamlessly and instantaneously.

Feature3 High reliability Double reset function
Two different protection circuits (power ON reset, low voltage malfunction WRITE prevention) are built in that detect and prevent malfunctions due to power failures/interruptions and abnormal voltage supply during startup (ON/OFF). The internal circuitry is reset during low voltage conditions, preventing erroneous writing.
