Overview
ROHM LED drivers integrate a step-down switching regulator with Pch MOSFET. The low 0.2V feedback voltage minimizes loss at the sense resistor, and a PWM frequency of 900kHz enables smaller coils to be used (compared with low-frequency switching regulators), contributing to smaller sets.
