ROHM has developed the BU7839GVW, a digital input Hi-Fi Class D headphone amplifier optimized for digital audio music playback. A stereo audio DAC and headphone amplifier are integrated on a single chip, enabling digital input with low power consumption, resulting longer playback time.

  1. The industry's lowest power consumption: 6.5mW (with 0.1mW output)
  2. Built-in stereo audio DAC and headphone amplifier
  3. Built-in startup noise reduction circuit
    and muting transistor reduces popping noise during power ON.
  4. Gain modification method selectable by register,
    reducing clicking noise during gain changes
  5. PLL built in for master/slave compatibility
