Overview

The BD961NUV 1ch synchronous rectification switching regulator integrates a FET. Compatibility with 1-cell li-ion battery voltage input (2.5V-5.5V) makes them ideal for compact portable devices.
In addition, synchronous rectification results in relatively higher load current capability (150mA) and high efficiency operation. Optimized for 5V systems of all types, including digital cameras.
Compact package + simple circuit configuration = Smaller power supply systems.

Ultra-high efficiency (96% when VIN=3.7V, VOUT=5.0V, and IO=150mA) step-up operation

 

The BD9641NUV integrates a Pch/Nch POWER MOSFET at the output stage and enables synchronous rectification, resulting in high efficiency 1ch step-up switching operation.
In addition, a specialized circuit is built in to minimize current consumption, enabling output currents up to 150mA.
Optimized for analog circuits in portable devices and power supply driver blocks.

Compact package and ceramic capacitor compatibility contribute to space-efficient designs

 

In addition to a POWER MOSFET, a phase compensation circuit is built in that eliminates the need for phase correction via external capacitor. The ultra-compact square package, measuring only 3mm a side, combined with ceramic capacitor compatibility (eliminating the need for relatively expensive tantalum capacitors), contribute to both reduced power supply size and costs.In addition, during standby current leakage through the load is curtailed by the POWER MOSFET (an operation referred to as back gate control). This eliminates the need for a load switch, reducing the number of external components even further.
Optimized for power supplies in compact portable devices.
